This guitar features a Relic lacquer finish that gives it a classic, well-worn look, embodying a vintage aesthetic with contemporary performance. The 2-piece select alder body offers a resonant and balanced tone, while the rift sawn maple neck with a 1969 "U" back-shape provides a substantial yet comfortable grip. The round-laminated rift sawn maple fingerboard, with a 9.5" radius and 21 narrow tall frets, ensures smooth playability and precise fretting. It is equipped with Custom Shop hand-wound pickups: a Texas Special single-coil Strat bridge pickup, an RWRP Fat '50s single-coil Strat middle pickup, and a '69 single-coil Strat neck pickup, delivering a range of rich, vintage tones. The Strat wiring includes a 1/2 blender and tone saver for enhanced tonal versatility, controlled via a 5-way switch. Additional features include a 3-ply parchment pickguard, a vintage-style synchronized tremolo with bent steel saddles, and Fender/Schaller vintage “F” style tuning machines. It comes with a bone nut, an American Vintage '65 string tree, a deluxe hardshell case, a strap, and a certificate of authenticity.
