That fuzz box sounded like a completely different animal from any of the other Fuzz Face pedals in Jimis arsenal, snarling with a far more aggressive, biting tone. The pedal itself has been lost to history, but its unmistakably unique tone lives on in the recordings of those three iconic shows, and Hendrix aficionados have tried to cop that sound for years. Dunlop has captured that famous tone in the Gypsy Fuzz pedal. This classic one-of-a-kind effect features a status LED, true-bypass switching, a 9-volt power jack, and a much smaller Phase 90-sized enclosure emblazoned with colorful, iconic art from legendary rock artist Gered Mankowitz.
