The JHS Pedals Charlie Brown V4 is the fourth version of Jhs popular Charlie Brown pedal. This overdrive is voiced to sound like an original Marshall JTM45 amplifier: a warm and rich sound that works great with any guitar.

Functions

The yellow stompbox features a total of five black rotary controls. Theres master Volume, Drive and a 3-band EQ with Bass, Middle and Treble. With the Drive knob, you control the amount of gain/overdrive the JHS Pedals Charlie Brown V4 produces. On settings left from the center position, the effect sounds like a low-gain, beefy overdrive that reminds us of the sounds of Jimi Hendrix. Turn the Drive control further clockwise and youll get a crunchy, natural sounding bite. When you turn the knob all the way up, youll get into high-gain territory.The original Marshall JTM45 amps are equipped with a 3-band EQ, and so is the JHS Pedals Charlie Brown V4. You can cut or boost the low-end, middle and treble frequencies to shape your overdriven sound to the detail. The pedal is powered by a 9 volt power supply.
