The body of the guitar is made of one piece of ash. The Relic finish, from headstock to headstock, offers authentic elements of the wear and tear associated with frequent gigs and travel, giving a new instrument the look and feel of guitars that have been on the market for years. The sawn maple neck with a '60s-style oval "C" profile has a rosewood fingerboard with twenty-one Narrow Tall frets (6105).
The combination of the Custom Shop Twisted Tele single-coil and Wide-Range CuNiFe neck humbucker accurately reflects the early 1970s, when single-coils began to replace humbuckers with a more massive sound. . Adjust tone character with separate volume and tone controls and a three-position pickup switch.
