This Tanglewood Master Design TSM 2 was created in collaboration with Scandinavian luthier Michael Sanden, known for crafting luxury boutique guitars in his Southern Sweden workshop. The Master Design series incorporates several of Sanden’s signature features, including the distinctive Ebony Japanese brushstroke bridge, the elegant Rosewood headstock overlay without a logo, and the zero fret for precise intonation. The only visible branding is a tasteful abalone "T" inlay at the 12th fret, adding to the instrument’s understated elegance.

Built with a Grand Auditorium body shape, this guitar features mahogany back and sides paired with a premium-grade Solid Sitka Spruce top, personally selected by Sanden. The refined aesthetic is complemented by maple body bindings and an abalone rosette. Playability is enhanced by a comfortable mahogany neck with a C-shaped profile, an ebony fingerboard with a 16” radius, and a 44mm (1 3/4") nut width.

For amplified performance, the guitar is equipped with a B-Band A1 EQ system, controlled from within the soundhole for a natural and dynamic electro-acoustic tone. Gold Grover closed-back tuners with ebony buttons complete the instrument’s high-end features.
