The distinctive single-cutaway body of the Fender Telecaster has been crafted from Ash. A very popular tone wood for Fender guitars, Ash is strong and dense with well-defined mid-range and strong low end characterizing its tonal attributes. Not only does this iconic design look good but its functional too, with the cutaway allowing for easy reach of the higher frets which is essential for wailing solos and other adventurous playing styles. Attached to the body is an old school 1952 C shaped Maple neck, giving you a period accurate and substantial playing grip. Atop the neck is a smooth playing Maple fretboard with a modern 9.5 radius and 21 medium jumbo frets for great playability.
