The thinking behind the Journeyman guitars is to recreate the natural light wear of a guitar thats been passed down from generation to generation but maybe not gigged too much. Its a step away from the famous relic finish but there are still little checks, dings and scratches as well as having slightly dull oxidised hardware. The Clapton Strat has a soft V profile maple neck with 22 vintage frets on a 9.5" radius fingerboard. Three vintage voiced Fender Noiseless pickups supply all of the Slowhand Woman Tone you can handle and these can be beefed up significantly by the onboard active mid-boost: up to 25 decibels of mid range are available at the turn of a knob to transform your mild mannered strat chime into a fire breathing rock monster. Great for Disraeli Gears era crunch and feedback. This beautiful Journeyman Relic is available in Two Tone Sunburst, all the better to see the Alder body through.
