The Fender Custom Shop Roasted Pine Double Esquire has been announced at NAMM in 2019, this Limited Edition model is a relic and aspires to evoke the spirit of an old '50s instrument that has been personalised by its owner.

This latest Fender Custom Shop guitar is fitted with a hand-wound Crushed Blackguard single-coil bridge pickup and '50-'51 Blackguard in the neck position. The neck is a classic vintage-style and tinted riftsawn maple neck with 10/56 V shape neck profile and is fitted with 21 medium-vintage frets to a nice 7.25"-9.5" compound-radius fingerboard. So should be a comfy fit whether just chording or soloing up the dusty end with this one.

This guitar has a lightweight Roasted Pine body that has been tastefully aged and then fitted with an appropriate single ply Eggshell pickguard. At Max Guitar, we really like that bare-bones look of white on black, plus that thin nitro finish makes it look classy.

This Esquire has Fender’s Nocaster wiring, so position three provides a variation on your standard rhythm tone, whilst position two offers the neck pickup by itself and wired directly to the volume control, Last up, position one is the bridge pickup all by itself, making this a nice simple, but an effective instrument.

Deluxe hardshell case, strap and Certificate of Authenticity are all included
