- The Eastman DGM2 is a specially designed mandolin that is based on the Bacon Artist mandolin model from the 1920s. It has an oval sound hole and an ebony pickguard. Vintage looks and a warm tone are combined in this instrument, and its very comfortable to play.
Tone woodsOnly the best, carefully selected tone woods were used for the construction of the Eastman DGM2. It has a solid top, that was hand carved out of Adirondack spruce. This tone wood is known and loved for its bright and clear tonality, and its found on many high-end acoustic instruments. The solid back and sides are made from hand carved, AAA-grade highly flamed maple. The neck is made from maple as well, and theres an ebony fingerboard with 22 frets.A quality hardshell case is included, so the mandolin is well protected when you take it with you on the road. The Eastman DGM2 is a real eye-catcher that produces some serious, vintage mandolin tones.
