The Eastman MD805 is an A-style mandolin that was hand made by experienced craftsmen in the Eastman workshop. It has two classic looking F-holes and the body is made from all-solid tone woods. A warm, ringing sound with great projection is the result.

Only the best, carefully selected tone woods were used to construct the Eastman MD805. It has a solid top, hand carved from Adirondack spruce. This is a popular tone wood seen on many high-end instruments. It has a bright sound with a sparkling quality. The back and the sides of the body are made out of solid, highly flamed maple and theres a parallel bracing on the inside. The Eastman MD805 has a maple neck with an ebony fingerboard. Twenty-three frets are neatly fitted to the board and there are abalone dot position markers. The mandolin has a fitted, adjustable ebony bridge and a chrome cast tailpiece.Great playability, a lovely sound and traditional looks are the most important characteristics of the Eastman MD805. Its a wonderful addition to any instrument collection.
