For his part, a Hot Rails humbucker pickup in the bridge provides the aggressive, high-output tone that defined Morello's sound during his time with Rage Against The Machine . And, combined with a pair of vintage noiseless single-coil pickups, you have a world of sonic possibilities at your disposal.
Fender has taken every step necessary to ensure that this signature model meets Morello's unique demands. A specially designed "killswitch" function allows access to a new way of playing the guitar, with a more percussive and rhythmic style. And, thanks to a locking Floyd Rose tremolo bridge, any guitarist can unleash all the sonic antics they want, including powerful dive bombs and vibrato effects. Finally, a modern sculpted "C" neck combines with the elegant rosewood surface of the fingerboard, giving you absolutely precise performance.
