The Eastman MD615 is an electro-acoustic F-style mandolin with a pair of classic looking F-holes. It was hand built by the most skilled craftsmen of the Eastman workshop, using a combination of traditional materials and proven construction methods. The MD615 has a warm sound with a ringing quality and excellent projection.

Tone woods

Only the finest, carefully selected tone woods were used to construct the Eastman MD615. It has a solid top, hand carved out of spruce. This is a popular tone wood that is seen on many high-end acoustic instruments and its widely recognized for its clear and bright tonality. The back and the sides of the body are made from solid flamed maple and the neck is maple as well.The Eastman MD615 has an ebony fingerboard with 23 frets and pearl dot position markers.
