Description

The Fulltone Supa-Wah builds on the legacy of the Clyde Wah by introducing two new modes—Phat and Sub—alongside the classic Wacked, Jimi, and Shaft voicings. Phat delivers an ultra-vocal, expressive sweep, while Sub offers a deep, gritty wah tone that’s especially effective with bass. Powered by a matched pair of rare BC109B transistors (as found in original 60s Vox Clyde McCoys), the Supa-Wah captures vintage tone with enhanced versatility. An adjustable input level control lets you drive the circuit cleanly or push it into overdrive for added harmonics, while a side-mounted JFET Buffer/Boost switch offers up to 20dB of gain for better amp interaction and pedalboard integration.

Built for durability and precision, the Supa-Wah features Fulltone’s long-travel treadle design with micro-adjustable nylon pivot points. The USA-made MU-80 inductor replicates the inductance and construction of vintage Vox units, shielded in a MuMetal cover for superior noise rejection. The custom FWP-2 potentiometer mimics the taper of vintage Icar pots and is rated for 500,000 turns. Housed in a rugged 16-gauge cold-rolled steel chassis, the Supa-Wah also includes a grounding strap for improved RF rejection and reduced hum—delivering tone and performance that hold up in any environment.
