The 7-string APEX30 has the features that Shaffer has tested over and over and honed to his tonal vision. With a nyatoh body and maple top, the APEX30 is light and resonant. The 3-piece maple Wizard II-7 neck and ebony fingerboard offer incredible response and feel — ideal for fast riffs and heavy power chords. And with a pair of DiMarzio Blaze humbuckers in the neck and bridge, the APEX30 is wired for heavy, expansive, and expressive tone.
The Ibanez Munky APEX30-MGM Metallic Gray Matte is a 7-string electric guitar perfectly tuned to the lowered nu-metal sound of the Korn guitarist. Based on the sleek RGA design , this electric guitar features a Nyatoh body with a curved maple top , while the easy-to-play "Wizard II-7" bolt-on neck is made of maple . With its modern mid-scoop , two DiMarzio Blaze humbuckers provide extremely powerful 7-string sounds that make every note sound clearly defined even at high distortion.
