This elegant MC-118S is Martinez's first guitar that's been fully built with solid woods. You can definitely hear this, the sound has a certain level of maturity that you can't find on laminated back and sides.

The European Spruce top sounds bright and balanced in the higher frequencies, very dynamic. The solid mahogany sounds light. Because of the high quality of the woods, their typical features sound even more pleasant and musical than with the Standard system. De playability is perfect. The dual action Trussrod makes sure it stays that way. The wrench to this is included in the box. The tuners have a unique feature as well. Every tuning head has a ball bearing that causes the tuner to be friction free and makes sure tuning is extremely easy to tune. The feel of the true Martinez design is found in the headstock and rosette. This guitar keeps being inspirational! This product does NOT come with a case supplied by the manufacturer.
