The Eastman MD604 is an electro-acoustic A-style mandolin with an oval sound hole. It was individually hand built by the skilled craftsmen in the Eastman workshop, and the instrument was constructed with great attention to detail. Parallel bracings on the inside of the body add to the musical, dynamic sound of the MD604 and the beautiful sound hole rosette gives an extra touch of luxury.

Tone woods

Only the finest, carefully selected tone woods were used for the construction of the Eastman MD604. It has a solid top that was hand carved out of spruce. This popular tone wood is known for its clear and bright tonality. The solid back and sides of the body are hand carved flamed maple, and the neck is maple as well.The ebony fingerboard has a total of 23 neatly placed frets and pearl dot position markers. Theres an adjustable ebony bridge and you can amplify the sound thanks to the built-in K&K Pure Mandolin pickup.The Eastman MD604 has it all: great looks, a warm sound and a quality pickup.
