Bringing back the beloved Jumbo body shape, this model offers the perfect platform for a 12-string’s signature chime and octave shimmer. Crafted with solid Indian rosewood back and sides and a Sitka spruce top, the 855e produces a beautifully balanced sound with deep lows, clear trebles, and an expansive dynamic range, thanks to its large air chamber and traditional X-bracing. While its design honors Taylor’s early builds with a mustache bridge, a straight-ear peghead with a rosewood veneer, and classic white binding, it also features a modern, easy-playing Taylor neck for unmatched comfort. Appointments include a three-ring green abalone rosette, a faux-tortoiseshell pickguard, and a glossy finish on both the body and neck. Equipped with LR Baggs Element VTC electronics for a natural amplified tone, the 855e is an inspiring instrument for both stage and studio. It ships with a deluxe hardshell case.
