Part of the celebrated EHX 9 Series, the STRING9 delivers nine distinct string ensemble and synthesizer voices—from classic analog textures to vintage sample-based sounds—with effortless tracking and inspiring playability.

In a first for the series, three of the presets feature the signature EHX Freeze effect, allowing you to hold notes and chords indefinitely for rich, ambient layering. You can choose from sounds like a full symphony orchestra, vintage Juno and ARP Solina synths, Mellotron choirs, and even warbly Orchestron tones via the intuitive rotary selector. Independent Effect and Dry volume knobs let you craft your perfect blend, while dual outputs and two tweakable parameters per preset provide plenty of flexibility for live or studio use.
