Time Shadows is a boundary-pushing collaboration between EarthQuaker Devices and Death By Audio, combining two bold sonic identities into one wildly imaginative pedal. With a three-way toggle switch at its heart, this multi-mode delay/filter/fuzz offers three entirely distinct voicings. Set the switch left to access EQD’s mode, a pitch-warped fuzz delay that adds polyphonic sub-octaves, digital grit, and a resonant lowpass filter for explosive, synth-like textures. Switch right for Death By Audio’s dreamlike reverb-drenched delay—a cascading multi-tap wash of modulated echoes and shifting harmonics. In the center? An entirely new effect born from the merging of minds, producing surreal, pitch-warped delay tones that bend time and space.

Time Shadows includes controls for Time, Span, and Filter, which shift in behavior depending on the selected mode—ranging from envelope-driven filter movement to complex delay line modulation. Six user-assignable preset slots allow you to save and recall your favorite sound experiments, making it a versatile and performance-ready addition to any rig.
