The impressive Lakewood D-53 acoustic guitar from the Lakewood Premium Series was made in Germany. The body was made from solid tonewoods. The top wood is made of solid AAAA-grade European spruce. Solid cocobolo was used for the back and sides. The cedro neck was fitted with an ebony fingerboard. The body of the Lakewood D-53 was finished in high gloss and the neck in satin (closed pored). High quality Lakewood ProTune II Gold tuners were installed for proper tuning. An L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup is used for electronic pickup of the Lakewood Dreadnought.
