The Maton Australian EA80C Series guitars are now presented in an evolved aesthetic, boasting enhanced tonal qualities and construction improvements. The design now includes newly tuned, scalloped-braced tops crafted from select grade Blackwood, paired with more delicately selected grain Blackwood back and sides. This modification, along with radiused backs, amplifies the tonal range, enriching the instrument with deeper bass responses and the brand's signature earthy tones.

In a nod to its heritage, the necks have transitioned to solid Blackwood, and to further embrace the Australian theme, the fingerboards and bridges are now made from Desert Acacia (Mulga), reinforcing the instrument's connection to its origins. Another significant update is the introduction of Maton's new UV cured paint finish, which applies a thinner coat to enhance the guitar's resonance and tone clarity. A striking mother-of-pearl Australian decal now adorns this model, marking its identity.

The Australian Series stands as a testament to Maton's over five decades of experience in utilizing native timbers, highlighting the beauty and acoustic excellence of Australian Blackwood. These guitars represent a pinnacle in the fusion of local craftsmanship and natural resources, delivering a performance that competes on a global stage.
