The Gibson ES-137 is a unique semi-hollow-body guitar, crafted in Gibson's Custom Shop in Memphis during its limited production run from 2002 to 2013. Unlike many of Gibson's models, the ES-137 is not based on a vintage design but offers a fresh take on the classic ES series.

Available in three models—Custom, Classic, and Standard—the ES-137 combines the traditional semi-hollow-body style with the powerful sound of a Les Paul Classic. This is achieved through its archtop design, loaded with pickups and features inspired by the Les Paul, delivering a rich and versatile tone.

The ES-137 shares its single Florentine cutaway design with other legendary Gibson models like the ES-175 and ES-135. Though slightly thinner than the ES-175, it features a solid mahogany center block that eliminates feedback issues often associated with fully hollow-body guitars. This design also allows for a stop tailpiece similar to the ES-335, providing stability and sustain, unlike the "trapeze"-style tailpieces found on traditional hollow-body models.

For players seeking the warmth of a semi-hollow guitar with the power and clarity of a Les Paul, the Gibson ES-137 is a perfect choice. Explore our selection and discover this modern classic today!
