Envision a nylon-string guitar that produces a full-bodied tone upon plugging in and integrates perfectly with any electric guitar setup. This is the essence of the Godin G-Tour Nylon. Designed for guitarists who crave the distinctive sound of nylon strings but prefer the ease and familiarity of an electric guitar. This guitar, with its resonant chambers, is outfitted with EPM Q-Discrete electronics, complete with user-friendly volume and tone knobs.

The guitar's body combines multiple wood types for optimal resonance and sound. The core is made of Silver Leaf Maple, chambered for enhanced resonance, and the body is shaped with Basswood. The top features two pieces of solid Canadian cedar wood, known for its warm sound with sufficient bass. Ergonomic design at the neck attachment improves playability in higher positions. The body is adorned with ivory-colored binding and finished in satin natural polyester, offering protection against scratches and external elements.

The neck is crafted from a single piece of Rock Maple, with a rosewood fretboard attached. This combination enhances the guitar's brightness and harmonic support. Rock Maple, being harder and more stable than standard maple, contributes to the guitar's overall stability. Godin applies an ultra-thin satin polyurethane varnish to the neck, which is adjustable at the headstock.

Rosewood, a popular choice for fretboards due to its durability and open structure, complements the maple neck. The fretboard features standard dot inlays and side position markers, with a modern 12″ radius.

The guitar is equipped with a piezo pickup system under the bridge, directing sound to the preamplifier. Two knobs on the top handle tone and volume control, reminiscent of the designs commonly seen in the sixties.
