Few artists in music history have reshaped the industry as quickly and left an enduring impact like Kurt Cobain and Nirvana. Emerging in the early '90s, Cobain and his bandmates combined heavy tones, punk-inspired energy, and melodic hooks to create a sound that captivated millions and brought grunge and alternative rock into the mainstream spotlight.

While Kurt played various Fender guitars throughout his career, the Jaguar and Mustang became iconic due to their prominent use during the "Nevermind" tour and in the "Smells Like Teen Spirit" music video. Seeking to blend his favorite features of both guitars, Kurt designed the Jag-Stang with the help of the Fender Custom Shop in 1993.

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Nirvana's groundbreaking album "Nevermind," this Jag-Stang recreates the features that made it Kurt's ideal guitar. The alder body delivers a punchy tone perfect for power chords, while the 24-inch short scale reduces string tension for easier playability. The 7.25-inch radius rosewood fingerboard and maple neck provide a comfortable feel for extended playing sessions. Equipped with vintage-style single-coil and custom humbucking pickups, along with Mustang slider switches, the guitar offers four distinct in-phase and out-of-phase tonal settings, ideal for capturing Kurt's classic sound.
