The Mustang IV V2 is the second heaviest variant in Fender's modern amplifier series. It features two 12-inch Celestion G12P-80 speakers powered by a 150 Watts (2 x 75 W) amplifier. Combined with its open-back design and sturdy casing (featuring the distinctive Fender logo), the Mustang IV can generate significant sound pressure, with a tone that is undeniably high quality.
This tone can be significantly molded using the built-in modeling technology, offering 17 amplifier models from vintage styles to modern high-gain tube amps. A mini-jack input allows media players to be connected for jamming along with music, even through headphones if needed.
To fully utilize the amplifier models and DSP effects, you can connect to a computer using Fender FUSE software. Presets are easily editable and savable, advantageous in both studio and live situations. The amp also includes a built-in chromatic tuner and a stereo FX loop for additional effect possibilities.
