The PastFX Chorus Ensemble MN3007 (CE-7) is a modified version of the PastFX Chorus Ensemble Deluxe, utilizing the less obsolete NOS MN3007 BBD. It offers similar components and features at an attractive price point.
The CE-7 shares the same PCB as the Deluxe, operates with the same bipolar voltages, features the exact same preamp section, and includes both switchable Depth and Buffer Mods.

- Utilizes NOS Panasonic/Matsushita 1024 stage BBD MN3007.
- Incorporates “Noise Killer” circuitry for reduced noise.
- Features the same unique preamp stage as the Deluxe.
- Normal/effect footswitch.
- Vibrato/Chorus footswitch.
- Triangle wave LFO for Chorus.
- Sinewave LFO for Vibrato.
- Not true bypass (Jfet switching) – Now includes a switchable Stereo True Bypass mod as standard.
- Peak Level Indicator provides visual feedback for input sensitivity.
- High/Low input sensitivity switch for versatility.
- Dual-color LFO rate LED indicates the selected effect:
- Blue: Chorus
- Red: Vibrato.
- Stereo/Mono outputs:
- Stereo setup sends wet signal to the Stereo jack and dry to the Mono jack.
- Vibrato controls: Depth & Rate.
- Chorus control: Intensity knob adjusts both rate and depth.
- LFO LED indicator remains on (without flashing) when bypassed.
- Compact, pedalboard-friendly design, using industry-standard 9VDC negative tip power supply.
Switchable Mods:
- Depth Mod: Allows the Vibrato Depth knob to control Chorus Depth for more flexibility.
- Buffer Mod: Adds or removes the buffer circuit to restore high frequencies, noticeable when the Input sensitivity is set to high.
- Stereo True Bypass Mod: Enables true bypass for both outputs when activated.
- Pot Mod: Changes the level control potentiometer value from 50K to 500K, accommodating guitarists who prefer higher resistance.
- Boost 'N' Blend: Customizes chorus output levels and wet/dry signal balance via internal trimpots for tailored sound.
All mod switches are located inside the back of the unit, allowing for fine-tuning to personal preferences.
