The Unobtanium RAW edition is a refined evolution of Crazy Tube Circuits’ beloved dual overdrive and amp-in-a-box pedal, now enhanced with rare vintage components for a more expressive and dynamic playing experience. On the right side, it features a true-to-original K-style overdrive circuit, now upgraded with a set of hand-selected NOS Mullard/Valvo OC45 germanium transistors from the 1960s. These transistors are the first of their kind in a K-style circuit, adding an organic feel, increased gain, and sweet compression that enhances sustain while preserving the core tonal qualities. The stock mode still delivers the classic germanium diode clipping for familiar K-style tones, while the OC45 mode introduces a new level of richness and saturation.

The left side houses a D-style amp emulator, now voiced with more punch and glassy articulation compared to the smoother standard version. Ideal for blues rock and vintage amp lovers, this side delivers tones that cut through the mix while retaining the dynamic nuance of boutique tube amps. A passive effects loop between the two sections allows integration of your favorite pedals or use of each side independently with switchers or loopers. Like its standard counterpart, the RAW version includes a power-up state selector, enabling preset bypass or engage functions—perfect for remote-controlled rigs.
