Eastmans traditional series is inspired by classic acoustics made in the 1930s. The traditional series is highly popular at the moment and it isnt hard to see why. Eastman simply brings very desirable instruments to the table at a price point you cant say no to!The Eastman E8OMs tone is really amazing. It sounds slightly warmer and more intimate than its brother the E20OM. It is a very pleasing and rich sound thatll give you a smile on your face. Aside from the outstanding tone, it also looks really great. The Sitka Spruce has a beautiful dark color tone to it.Even though the E8OM is part of the traditional series, there is a small twist to the design as the scale length is 24.9 inches. The scale length of course influences the tone and in this case it does in a very positive way. We feel it makes the E8OM extra resonant and complex sounding compared to OMs with a traditional scale length.The Eastman E8OM features a scalloped X braced Sitka spruce top along with Indian Rosewood back and sides and a smooth ebony fingerboard. The Ebony truly feel great under your fingers.The build quality on the E8OM of course is top notch. It plays and sounds absolutely amazing and there are no flaws in its appearance whatsoever. Like all Eastman guitars absolutely no effort was spared to make this instrument perfect.The hand built OM is any fingerpickers dream guitar. We have no doubt that the E8OM has the ability to satisfy even the most demanding players.
