This exclusive model features a unique tonewood pairing not found in Taylor’s standard lineup: mahogany back and sides with a Western Red cedar top. Mahogany’s punchy midrange and dry, woody character complement cedar’s warmth and soft-touch responsiveness, making it an excellent choice for fingerstyle players and light strummers. Traditional X-bracing, as used in the first Grand Auditorium models, enhances its dynamic voice, while Taylor’s slim, easy-playing neck ensures effortless playability.

Sleek appointments include faux tortoiseshell binding and pickguard, white and black top purfling, mother-of-pearl Small Diamond fretboard inlays, a three-ring green abalone rosette, ebony bridge pins with abalone dots, gold tuning machines, and a gloss-finished body with a satin-finished neck.

Equipped with LR Baggs Element VTC electronics with soundhole-mounted controls, the Legacy 514ce delivers natural amplified tone. It ships with a deluxe hardshell case for protection.
