Thanks to these new benefits, the OCD excels in many different uses, such as a clean boost, but it is also capable of boosting a tube amp more than many pedals on the market, creating richer and more complex harmonics. It can also produce a powerful and distinctive distortion sound.

The OCD operates at 9 or 18 Volts, further enhancing its dynamic capabilities. With its HP/LP selector, it offers either a colored and powerful English sound akin to Vox/Marshall or a more transparent sound that respects the original signal.

The OCD evolved through 8 versions between 2004 and 2017, with version 1.4 released in 2009 being particularly appreciated by fans of the brand. Its circuit includes the addition of a germanium diode to generate richer harmonics, bass attenuation, and a Volume control with more precise adjustments.
