Electronics

Like some of Taylors more expensive models, the Taylor Academy 10e Dreadnought is equipped with the ES-B preamp system. This allows you to connect the guitar to an acoustic amp. It features a piezo pickup and an onboard preamp. The black panel on the side of the body has rotary controls for Volume and Tone, and theres also a built-in chromatic tuner.

Other features

To enhance the playing comfort, the Taylor Academy 10e Dreadnought has a slightly shorter scale length than usual on a dreadnought: 24 7/8 inch. Theres also an arm rest on the edge of the body, so you can relax your right arm while playing. Premium features like a solid Sitka spruce top, sapele back and sides and an ebony fingerboard give the Taylor Academy 10e Dreadnought a balanced and clear sound that everyone will love.
