Classic 1959 Super Lead Sound
The heart of the SC20C Studio Vintage Combo, which is built using traditional tube technology, is undoubtedly the preamp, whose sound is unmistakably based on the 1959 Super Lead head of the sixties, which has gone down in rock history. The normal and high treble channels, each equipped with high and low sensitivity inputs, not only allow different timbres to be called up but can naturally be connected via patch cable to enjoy the incredibly dynamic Vintage Marshall sound. In addition to the classic tone stack with controls for bass, middle and treble, the Studio Vintage combo offers an additional presence control for the treble response of the power amp.
The amp features two channels - Classic Gain and Ultra Gain - each with their own set of dedicated controls, including Gain, Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass, and Presence. The Output Master control lets you dial in just the right amount of volume, while the included series effects loop allows you to easily integrate your favorite pedals into your signal chain. The amp is powered by 2 x ECC83 and 2 x EL34 tubes, providing the classic Marshall sound that has become a staple of rock music for over 50 years.
The Purple LTD version of the MMV-SV20CD21 is covered in a distinctive purple tolex with a matching grille cloth, making it stand out from the crowd. It also comes equipped with a 10" Celestion V-type speaker, which provides a rich and detailed sound with plenty of low-end punch.
