The 1967 Gibson J-160E is a round shouldered dreadnought first p[roduced in 1954 and holds a very special place in music history, thanks in large part to its association with The Beatles and specifically with John Lennon's 1962 J-160E. It comes with a 3ply laminated top and mahogany back and sides, mahogany nack with brazilian rosewood board (with cites paperwork)

The J-160E delivers a balanced and resonant acoustic tone that translates beautifully to the stage or studio. The addition of a single-coil pickup at the neck provides added versatility, allowing players to effortlessly transition from acoustic to amplified playing without sacrificing tone.
