The Fender Custom Shop Telecaster 1967 Firemist Metallic (2005) is a faithful recreation of a late-’60s Tele, built by Fender’s Custom Shop to capture both the vibe and tone of the era. With its bold Firemist Metallic finish—one of Fender’s rare custom colors from the 1960s—it balances vintage authenticity with Custom Shop craftsmanship. The ’67 Telecaster spec leans into the transitional period of Fender history: larger headstock logos, a comfortable mid-’60s “C” neck profile, and slightly hotter single-coil pickups, giving it the chimey clarity of a Tele with just enough extra bite.
