The Taylor Gold Label 517e SB brings together timeless aesthetics and vintage-inspired tone in a reimagined Grand Pacific body, now with increased depth for enhanced power and projection. Its golden-brown burst top evokes classic acoustic character, perfectly matching the guitar’s warm, expressive voice. Solid mahogany back and sides pair with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, delivering a rich, woody sound with thick midrange and a touch of aged sweetness, thanks to the roasted soundboard treatment.

A fanned variant of V-Class bracing boosts sustain, clarity, and dynamic response while improving intonation across the fretboard. The slim Taylor neck, finished in satin for effortless playability, incorporates the long-tenon Action Control Neck system. This innovative neck joint increases resonance and warmth through improved neck-to-body coupling, while also allowing quick and precise string height adjustments via an internal neck bolt—no need for detuning or disassembly.

The 517e SB features a suite of elegant appointments, including a modified headstock with a sculpted back cut and script-style Taylor logo, cream body binding, a cream single-ring rosette, and Crest inlays on both the fingerboard and peghead. The standard version comes with a cream-colored pickguard, while this one has the firestripe variant. A Honduran rosewood Curve Wing bridge with Indian rosewood pins adds tonal and visual refinement.
