Description

This early 1960s Höfner 4573 Verythin in Cherry Red is a beautifully preserved example of one of Germany’s most stylish and expressive semi-hollow guitars. Built in Höfner’s Bubenreuth workshop during their golden era, this guitar features a fully hollow, ultra-thin laminated maple body with arched top and back, combining vintage resonance with a sleek, lightweight feel.

Fitted with two original Hofner “Diamond Logo” pickups and the factory vibrato tailpiece, it delivers a clear, chimey tone with warm lows and a woody midrange—ideal for jazz, surf, beat music, or retro-inspired rock. The C-shaped maple neck is topped with a bound rosewood fretboard and distinctive striped block inlays, while a floating rosewood bridge and rotary switch system complete the period-correct electronics and hardware layout.
