The guitar’s solid Indian rosewood back and sides, enhanced with a Kona edgeburst, are paired with a sinker redwood top, delivering a warm, rich, and well-balanced tone with a wide dynamic range. Sinker redwood, sourced from submerged old-growth logs in California riverbeds, offers the soft touch sensitivity of cedar, along with the headroom for more dynamic playing. Taylor’s V-Class bracing boosts volume and sustain, while improving note harmony across the neck.
