The Bartel Sugarland in Brown/Tweed  is a premium, handwired 1x12 combo amp built for players who love rich clean tones and dynamic overdrive at manageable volume levels. With 12 watts of Class A power from a pair of 6V6 tubes, it delivers vintage-style warmth, clarity, and harmonic detail. The amp features a single channel with a simple control layout: Volume, Tone, and a unique “Voice” switch that toggles between different tonal characters—from blackface-style clarity to a thicker, mid-forward tweed sound. The 12” Bartel-designed ceramic speaker, open-back cab, and solid pine construction contribute to its lively, resonant tone. The crème tolex version gives it a classy, boutique look that matches its top-tier build quality.

Mark Bartel, the designer, is known for founding Tone King Amplifiers and later launching Bartel Amps to pursue an even higher level of craftsmanship. Every Bartel amp is hand-built in Baltimore with point-to-point wiring, custom components, and unique design features like a floating baffle for improved speaker response.
