This tape echo-style delay pedal offers a highly authentic recreation of the classic EP-3 sound, complete with a discrete, touch-sensitive preamp that preserves your direct guitar signal in its analog form. Delay times range from a crisp 80ms, ideal for vintage slapback, up to a lush 800ms for expressive, melodic echo reminiscent of players like Brian May. The Echo Delay knob mimics the movement of the tape head across the tape, while Echo Sustain dials in the number of repeats—right up to self-oscillation for experimental textures.

Additional controls fine-tune the vintage tape effect: the Sway knob adds random wow and flutter for a natural tape wobble, and the Tone knob controls the "Record Level," adjusting how hard the signal hits the virtual tape for either clean and airy or dense and saturated repeats. It also determines the volume of the initial echo. Internally, you’ll find a Gain trimmer for boosting your signal from unity up to a gritty push, and a switch to toggle between true bypass or trails mode. The pedal runs on 9V or 18V for increased headroom and dynamics.
