The BlackBird Deluxe builds on the character of the original BlackBird, offering the same medium-gain drive with dynamic, touch-sensitive response and natural compression, but adds significant features for greater flexibility. A Channel switch lets you toggle between Normal and Bright voicings inspired by the classic '61 Brown Deluxe amp. It also introduces an authentic bias tremolo circuit that uses MOSFET and JFET technology to mimic power tube modulation, delivering the smooth, liquid quality that defines vintage bias tremolo. This tremolo is sensitive to playing dynamics and responds to your guitar’s volume, creating a uniquely expressive and organic modulation.

Additional versatility comes from the dual-mode Bypass switch, which lets you select between Low Gain for edge-of-breakup tones and High Gain for increased drive and output. When placed later in your signal chain, the BlackBird Deluxe can function as a standalone preamp, complete with a passive effects loop for advanced routing and integration. Built entirely with an all-analog audio path, it’s designed with pedalboard practicality in mind, featuring top-mounted jacks, true relay-based bypass switching, and compatibility with 9V to 18V power for added headroom. Designed and handcrafted in Greece, it’s a compact yet powerful tool for shaping vintage-inspired tone.
