The Formula 55 is a Foundation Overdrive pedal that faithfully recreates the preamp section of the legendary Fender 5E3 Tweed Deluxe. Designed with an all-discrete JFET-based signal path, it delivers the rich, dynamic response of a classic tweed amp, from warm, clean jazz tones to gritty, raw rock textures. The Volume and Tone controls are true-to-spec, mirroring the original 5E3 circuit for an authentic playing experience.

With its Hi-Lo toggle switch, you can switch between vintage-style clean response or a more aggressive, hot-rodded sound reminiscent of swapping in higher gain tubes.
