The Crazy Tube Circuits Phi (φ) is a powerful all-analog compressor pedal designed to give players studio-grade compression in a compact, pedalboard-ready format. With three completely independent compression modes—FET, OTA, and Optical—Phi offers a full spectrum of dynamic control, from transparent leveling to punchy limiting or smooth, vintage-style squeeze. A toggle switch allows you to quickly select the compression style that best suits your instrument or playing dynamics.

FET mode delivers fast, colorful compression with harmonic character, OTA mode offers tight, aggressive response perfect for fast picking or slap, and OPTO mode brings warm, natural compression with a musical touch. The Blend control lets you dial in parallel compression to maintain clarity while adding sustain and weight. Internally, Phi can be run at 9V or 18V for more headroom and dynamic range. With its low noise floor, wide frequency response, and flexible voicing, Phi is equally suited for guitar, bass, or studio use—bringing polished, professional dynamics to any setup.
