Eastman was founded in 1992 by Qian Ni, who moved from China to America to study music in Boston. Upon his arrival in the U.S., Qian Ni was disappointed with the quality standards of string instruments in America. This led him to start developing and producing his own string instruments, with a focus on high quality. Nearly 30 years later, Eastman guitars are still recognized for their high quality, and the range of products has significantly expanded.
