The Lakewood M-53 Custom is a masterfully crafted acoustic that combines premium tonewoods with refined craftsmanship for an exceptional playing experience. At its heart lies a stunning European AAA Bearclaw spruce top, chosen for both its striking grain pattern and its tonal excellence. This top delivers a clear, articulate voice with shimmering highs and a responsive dynamic range, perfectly complementing fingerstyle and flatpicking alike.

The back and sides are constructed from rich cocobolo, a dense and beautifully figured tonewood known for its deep, piano-like bass response, clear mids, and sparkling trebles. Together, the spruce and cocobolo pairing produces a powerful yet balanced tonal palette, with remarkable projection and sustain.

Built in Lakewood’s German workshop, the M-53 Custom features the brand’s signature M-style body shape, offering a comfortable playing feel without sacrificing volume or resonance.
