Description

The Maxon OD-9 Pro+ Overdrive builds on the classic TS9-style circuit originally designed by Maxon, now refined with modern enhancements for greater tonal flexibility and performance. Like the standard OD-9, it features an improved output stage for reduced background noise and uses the same beloved analog circuitry.

The Pro+ version introduces a Boost switch that emphasizes midrange frequencies while subtly reducing highs and lows—perfect for cutting through the mix during solos. An internal voltage converter boosts the 9V input to 18V, delivering increased headroom, improved frequency response, and greater dynamic range. For optimal performance, especially when used with other pedals, it’s recommended to power the OD-9 Pro+ with a dedicated supply. This pedal offers the classic tube-like overdrive tone with added power, precision, and versatility.
