Showcasing some of the finest materials and painstaking attention to detail for which Bourgeois Guitars is known, the new Touchstone Signature features select Madagascar Rosewood back and sides and a torrefied, old-growth Alaskan Sitka Spruce soundboard. The body, fretboard, and headstock are all bound in Ziricote, a figured wood which pairs with Dana Bourgeois’ distinctive tri-color herringbone top border and delicate pearl inlays to create an air of understated elegance.

Drawing on Dana’s nearly half-century of lutherie experience, the Touchstone Series is designed to deliver a legendary Bourgeois tone and build quality to a broader range of players.

Bourgeois' all-new Touchstone Series guitars feature Old-Growth Alaskan Sitka Spruce tops and Adirondack Spruce braces, selected and hand-voiced in Lewiston, Maine, by Dana Bourgeois and his team.

Using their renowned system of hand voicing, all Touchstone Series soundboards are optimized for tonal excellence by a team of skilled luthiers at Bourgeois in Maine.

The back and sides of the Touchstone Series guitars are made with carefully selected Madagascar Rosewood and assembled by the talented craftsmen at Eastman Guitars. Each specialised step is performed by hand to bring out the beauty and tonal complexity of each guitar.
