The Koch Studiotone Combo is a full-fledged 'all tube' tube amplifier that not only produces a powerful, British, sixties-style sound but also has a variety of functions on board. It has two foot-switchable channels, allowing you to effortlessly transition your guitar from warm and clean to delightful EL84-overdrive and compression. A highly versatile tube amp!
The Surprising Studiotone Combo
In addition to the gain and volume settings for channel 2 and even an Overdrive+ mode (with 3 levels), the Studiotone Combo 20 Watt features a 3-band tone control and two voicing switches. Use the Mid Shift for an 800 Hz boost and the Bright switch for a treble cut/boost. The rear side is also surprising, with not only an effects loop and headphone output but also two types of line outputs and a recording output with adjustable microphone and cabinet simulation.
