The Talisman is a plate reverb pedal inspired by the legendary EMT studio units of the 1960s and '70s—massive, metal-based systems that defined the sound of countless classic recordings. These iconic reverbs were known for their smooth decay, minimal early reflections, and rich, warm tone that paired especially well with electric guitar. The Talisman captures that same lush character in a compact, pedalboard-friendly format, delivering full-bodied ambience that naturally tapers off just like the original plates.

To enhance its studio-grade realism, the Talisman includes key sidechain controls often used in professional plate reverb setups. A Pre-Delay control lets you delay the onset of the reverb by up to 100ms, adding clarity and preventing the effect from clouding your dry signal. Meanwhile, the High-Pass control gently rolls off low-end reverb content, keeping your tone tight and focused without losing the depth and warmth of the effect.
