We have to tell you... We really like the Ivy League. Its an easy amp to get a very traditional tweed sounds out of. Youll find yourself jamming around on it and saying, oh, this sounds just like..., and that sounds exactly like..., etc. You get the picture. Its just a very fun amp to play. In true Fender Harvard fashion, the fixed bias 6v6 gives a nice snappy low end and it starts to break up and grind as the volume increases. I was checking out the video that Mark Baier (the builder and owner of Victoria) made for the Ivy League and he said, and I quote: It kind of gives you that cushion, that distortion cushion. You hit the note and youve got this kind of pillow of fun to ride on.
