The Fulltone Custom Shop Queen Bee is a high-gain germanium fuzz pedal with an amp-like feel and expressive dynamic response. Powered by three NOS military-spec “Flying Saucer” germanium transistors, the Queen Bee goes beyond traditional two-transistor fuzz designs to deliver rich sustain, sweet mids, and saturated harmonic content—while remaining impressively low-noise for such a powerful circuit.

The first two transistors drive the third one hard, resulting in bold, sustaining distortion with a waveform full of asymmetry and second-order harmonics. It's a fuzz with a full, commanding voice that still cleans up beautifully with your guitar’s volume knob. A passive Hi-Cut Treble control helps tame overly bright amps, while a three-way Bass switch before the final transistor tailors the low-end response for tight, percussive rhythm or more open saturation.

Inside, an adjustable bias trimmer for the third transistor lets you fine-tune the compression, warmth, and overall texture of the fuzz—small turns can yield dramatic changes. Hand-built in the USA and equipped with Fulltone’s 3PDT true bypass footswitch, the Queen Bee is a boutique fuzz pedal that offers vintage soul, modern flexibility, and a tone that's anything but ordinary.
